Chapter 4-13 Mad-Eye Moody

• The first day of school begins. Harry and Ron have Herbology with Professor Sprout first. They have to milk Bubotubers, which are giant black slugs. Their pus is used as a remedy against acne. Hanna Abbott tells them that a girl named Eloise Midgen had once tried to curse off her acne.
• Next they have Care of Magical Creatures with Hagrid. Hagrid makes them raise Blast-Ended Skrewts. Dean gets his hand burned by one of them.
• In the afternoon they have Divination with profesor Trelawney. They learn how to read the stars. They make fun of the Professor and end up with a lot of homework.
• Hermione tells them that Professor Vector didn't give any homework at all.
• Draco shows Ron a negative article from the Daily Prophet about his father, Mr. Weasley, written by Rita Skeeter. Draco keeps provoking Ron, insulting his parents, and Harry insults Draco's mother. Draco tries to cast a spell but is prevented by Professor Moody, who turns Draco into a ferret by Transfiguration. Professor McGonagall arrives and sets the situation right.
• Everyone seems to like Professor Moody.
