Chapter 4-32 Flesh, Blood and Bone
- Harry and Cedric come to a
stop. They are in a graveyard. Apparently the Triwizard Cup is a Portkey. They hear someone coming. Harry's
Scar bursts with pain. Someone gives an order
to "kill the spare" and Harry hears someone cast the ¤ Avada Kedavra. Harry sees a
green light, his Scar bursts again with pain and then the pain decreases.
Opening his eyes, he sees Cedric lying dead on the ground.
- The person turns out to be Wormtail, Peter Pettigrew. Wormtail ties Harry
to a grave with the name Tom Riddle.
Wormtail is placing a stone cauldron in the foot of the grave. From
a pile of robes on the ground, Wormtail picks up the hideous Voldemort,
who is in the shape of a crouched human child; hairless and scaly reddish
black, with weakened limbs and with a flat and snakelike face and gleaming
red eyes.
- Wormtail puts the creature into the cauldron and recites some ritualistic
text. He cuts off his own hand and puts it in the cauldron. Harry is
stabbed with a dagger and blood is taken from him and put into the cauldron.
- Voldemort steps out of the cauldron, back to his full strength.
