The Mark Evans Mystery

Everyone's been talking and wondering about Mark Evans. Who is he? Is he related to Harry? Is Mark a wizard?

Well, the first question is: Who is Mark Evans? Right now, all we know is that Mark lives near the Dursleys. We also know he doesn't like Dudley and his gang because they beat him up.

The next question we should ask ourselves is: Is Mark Evans related to Harry? The answer is: probably. J.K. Rowling wouldn't use the same last name without there being some connection between him and Harry. It could be that Mark Evans is the son of Lily's brother or cousin.

Something else that has been bothering me (if not all the other Harry Potter fans out there) is whether or not Mark Evans is a wizard. I think that it is possible that Mark is a wizard because he is only 10. If you are accepted to Hogwarts, you get the letter when you are 11.

There is still one thing bothering me though that I don't have a reason for. How did Harry know that Dudley an his gang had beaten Mark up? Dudley couldn't have said anything about it because his parents would find out what he has been doing at night. I hope we learn more about this suspicous character in the sixth book..
