No mentoring to point the way
From darkness into light
No guardians at home to say
What's wrong and what is right

No lessons in humility
Or empathy for others
And no endowed ability
To count all men as brothers

Do you truly feel the one
Your family serves would care
If you would die tomorrow, son
No sorrow would he bear

The one you wish to serve could never
Be content if all
His enemies were gone forever
Each follower would fall

If under Dumbledore a lapse
In discipline you make
Detention, loss of points perhaps
Would be the worst you'd take

But under evil, one false step
And death will be your fate
There is no hope, nor promises kept
When humanity comes too late
