General speculations about the Weasleys

Here's some general Speculations about the Weasley family members.

• I found some carachters and the wands they hold, and the results were disturbing, this was listed in the harry potter lexicon,..

Harry Potter: holly, 11", supple, single phoenix feather (from Fawkes)
Fleur Delacour: rosewood, 9 1/2 ", inflexible, veela hair
James Potter: mahogony, 11", pliable (excellent for transfiguration)
Lily Potter: willow, 10 1/4", swishy (nice wand for charm work)
Voldemort: yew, 13 1/2", single phoenix feather (also from Fawkes)
Hagrid: oak, 16", rather bendy
Krum: hornbeam, 10 1/4", quite rigid, dragon's heartstring
Cedric Diggory: pleasantly springy, 12 1/4", single unicorn hair
Ron's new wand: willow, 14", unicorn tail hair

NOTES:
Both Cedric and Ron have wands with unicorn tail hairs in them. This is a bit disturbing because of the following exchange from SS:

"Yeah," said Hagrid, glancing up, too. "Listen, I'm glad we've run inter yeh, Ron(an), 'cause there's a unicorn bin hurt -- you seen anythin'?"
Ron(an) didn't answer immediately. He stared unblinkingly upward, then sighed again.
"Always the innocent are the first victims," he said. "So it has been for ages past, so it is now."

• I think Percy is overly ambitious and his need for power and success will lead him right down Voldemort's path. (Melissa)

• If, as seems likely, Percy goes to the dark side in the war of the wizards it will be more to do with his devotion to a sense of order rather than through evil intent. This is because the Order of the Phoenix has shown that it is willing to act outside the law by harbouring Sirius Black while he was an escapee from Azkaban. And because it defied the Ministry by embracing Harry while the Ministry was trying to discredit Harry for spreading rumours about the return of Voldemort.

Percy's crossing (which is more or less a fait accompli by the end of Order of the phoenix) may have the greatest effect on Ron. Ron, who has lived in the shadow of his brothers and has been shown up up Ginny, may be the one who has to face Percy (to save Hermione is my long-shot prediction) and turn him back to the good side or kill him.
